Tournament Structure and Entry Mechanics
Tournament Mode on joybola runs recurring cycles: daily tournaments (evening and late-night slots), weekly brackets, and seasonal events tied to holidays like Idul Fitri, Idul Adha, and Imlek. Each tournament has a fixed entry fee, player cap, and guaranteed minimum prize pool. If a tournament fills its player slots before the deadline, entry closes; if it does not reach minimum capacity, we cancel and refund all entry fees to participants' accounts.
You register for a tournament through the joybola app by selecting your entry stake and confirming payment. Your entry fee transfers from your main wallet to the tournament escrow account immediately. We do not hold your money elsewhere—it stays on our platform, segregated only by accounting ledger. If the tournament gets cancelled, the refund posts within minutes to your playable balance.
Once the tournament starts, all participants receive the same chip stack. You compete in parallel rounds against other players on identical live-dealer tables. Each round lasts a fixed duration (typically subject to verification depending on the game). Your chip balance at round end determines your advancement—top chip holders progress to the next bracket tier; lower finishers are eliminated.
We track your position in real time. The app displays a live leaderboard so you can see your rank, chip stack, and remaining opponents. This transparency prevents surprises; you always know where you stand relative to elimination cutoff.
Prize Pools and Payout Distribution
Prize pools are deterministic. If a tournament has 100 players at a our welcome offer entry fee, the pool contains our welcome offerillion minus our operational fee (typically 5-non-specific info). That reduced pool distributes across final positions: first place gets non-specific info, second gets non-specific info, third gets non-specific info, fourth-eighth each get non-specific info, ninth-sixteenth each get non-specific info. These percentages are fixed and published before the tournament starts.
We do not adjust prize distribution mid-tournament. If you finish third, you receive your non-specific info share regardless of how many players entered. This prevents manipulative scenarios where late registrations dilute payouts.
Live Play and Mobile Experience During Tournaments
Tournament rounds on joybola use multi-camera live-dealer feeds. The primary camera shows the dealer's hands and card play; secondary cameras show player positions and chip stacks. We compress this dual-stream into adaptive bitrate video: 1080p on WiFi, 720p on strong 4G, 480p on slower connections. Audio stays clear across all profiles because dealer announcements and timer countdowns take precedence over visual fidelity.
Your action window persists across brief disconnections. If you lose signal for 5-10 seconds, we hold your seat and restore your connection to the live table. Your action timer pauses during the disconnection, resuming once you reconnect. We do not auto-fold your hand or penalize you for network hiccups.
If a disconnection lasts longer than 30 seconds, we fold your hand. This prevents players from abusing the system—purposefully disconnecting to avoid tough decisions. The fold is logged and visible in your hand history so you see why you exited.
Withdrawal and Settlement After Tournament
Tournament winnings post to your main account wallet within one hour of the tournament closing. If you finished in the money (within prize-paying positions), your share appears instantly. You can then withdraw that balance through standard joybola channels: e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or bank transfer (mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet).
Withdrawals route back to your original deposit method when possible. If you entered via mobile banking, your payout defaults to your registered bank account. If you entered via local payment, your payout returns to online payment. We do not allow cross-method payouts—this prevents account misuse and fraud.
Settlement windows depend on payment processor. E-wallet withdrawals (e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment) typically clear within one to four hours. Bank transfers complete within one business day during weekdays; holiday periods (Idul Fitri, Idul Adha, Imlek, Nyepi) may extend settlement to the following business day.
Tournament winnings are real funds—no playthrough requirements, no bonus rollover. Once paid to your account, they are yours to withdraw immediately.
Account Verification and Tournament Eligibility
Before entering any Tournament Mode event on joybola, your account must pass complete KYC verification. You submit your government ID, residential address proof, and a selfie with ID. We cross-check this data and typically complete verification within one business hour. Verification gates tournament entry to prevent fraud and account duplication.
Once verified, your account remains eligible for all future tournaments. If you attempt to create duplicate accounts to enter the same tournament multiple times, our system detects this and blocks all entries. Banned duplicate accounts forfeit any winnings. This rule applies across all tournaments, so maintain one verified account only.
Tournament Scheduling and Regional Participation
We schedule tournaments to align with player availability across Indonesia. Evening tournaments (6 PM to midnight Jakarta time) suit working players. Late-night tournaments (midnight to 4 AM) cater to night-shift workers or international players. Weekend tournaments run extended brackets with larger prize pools.
Players in Medan, Semarang, Bandung, and other regions participate in identical tournaments—no region-specific brackets. Competition is unified, but payment methods honor regional preferences: Bandung players can deposit via e-wallet just as easily as Jakarta players using mobile banking. Our payment gateway auto-detects your region and offers appropriate options.
Tournament entry remains available where local law permits. Services are available only where applicable law allows. We do not offer tournaments in jurisdictions where online wagering is prohibited. If your location becomes restricted, we halt tournament entries pending verification of your legal status.
